Thanks to your donations, the Child Development Centre at York Hospital were able to purchase an funtronic interactive projector, to transform physio treatment for 0 – 17 year.
Coming into hospital for any kind of assessment or treatment can be scary for children, so the projector helps make the experience fun and interactive by using images and games on the floor.
The system can be used in physiotherapy treatment to help a range of conditions, from the developmentally delayed babies to encourage them to roll, sit and reach, to neurology patients using the games to encourage movement of limbs.
