Thanks to a donation from Bridlington Freemasons, we provided funding for an electric car for the Rainbow Ward at Scarborough Hospital!
Children use the Red Lexus to drive to and from their MRI scans. These scans can be intimidating for children, causing anxiety and fear. The car provides much-needed distraction, helping to make the MRI experience positive and happy.
The Rainbow Ward also has a grass area where children can enjoy some outdoor time. The car has allowed these young patients to explore and play in the open space during their stay at the hospital.
Thank you once again to the Freemasons for their wonderful donation, which has brought joy and comfort to the children who spend time on the ward.
